Ladies that take part can choose between moderate 25km and 40km routes that will begin at Van Gaalen's Cheese Farm near the Hartebeespoort Dam.
The routes are designed to challenge riders of all abilities. A group of professional female bikers will be on standby to offer tips. There will be a special race for the kids early in the morning, as well as a playground where there will be child-minders on hand to ensure the little ones are well taken care of.
Boyfriends and husbands will be able to entertain themselves in the beer tent while their partners compete in this first ladies-only race.
At the end of the ride, ladies will be able to enjoy a glass of bubbly, a scrumptiously healthy ladies' lunch and all day massages in the hospitality tent.
Says Doug Mattheus, marketing director at Nashua Mobile: "As a supporter of South African sport, we're pleased to back this wonderful event. It's a great opportunity for female cyclists at every level to test their abilities, as well as enjoy a wonderful day out with the entire family."
