Sean Badenhorst:
An award-winning magazine editor, he took Ride Mag from bimonthly to monthly and was the founding editor of the South African edition of Bicycling. He began mountain biking in 1990, has raced almost everything on the calendar over the years, and is now on a mission to popularise trail and freeriding in South Africa. Sean heads up the editorial division with a hand-picked team of writers, photographers, experts and mountain bikers with soul.
Joanne Badenhorst:
Not just Sean’s wife of 14 years, but Sean’s high-school sweetheart! With that kind of perseverance, she can only be a keen trail rider! She’s worked in media and publishing for 15 years, making an impact at TBWA Hunt Lascarus, Future Publishing, Now Media and Uppercase Media where she was the Production Manager on FHM and heat. Joanne manages marketing and subscriptions and adds a women’s perspective on bike and gear testing.
Christopher (Chris) Dutton:
Chris is the brand manager, taking care of advertising and promotional initiatives and chases podium places from time to time as a member of the test team.
